Dr. Steven Anderson

Dr. Steven Anderson has been actively involved in the Republicans Party since the days of his youth when he was, as a youngster, handing out pencils for the “Re-Elect the President” campaign of President Richard Nixon in 1972.

In 1974 Steven was awarded and received the medal of Patriotism by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

In 1980 Steven became a Charter Member of President Reagan’s “US Republican Presidential Task Force”

After graduating college in 1985, Steven moved to Sweden where he became Chairman of Republicans Abroad for Sweden in 1987.

From 1986-1987 he closely assisted President General Mohammed Zia-ul-Haq on certain issues during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

Coming to the People’s Republic of Hungary in April of 1989 he established the first private radio station in the history of the Iron Curtain. This was the first time that the Voice of America was ever re-broadcast from within a communist nation. In this same year he was the Founder in Hungary of the first Chapter of a Republicans Abroad organization in a country of the Warsaw Pact.

He has had the honor of meeting and/or working with such notable Republicans as President Ronald Reagan, President George Bush, Speak of the House Newt Gingrich, Drug Czar William Bennett, Florida Senator Connie Mack, General Alexander Haig and many others.

From 2012 – 2014 Dr. Anderson was the acting Chairman for Republicans Abroad Serbia.

Today Steven is proud to serve as the Chairman of Republicans Overseas for the United Arab Emirates.
